“Human Dignity” (2025) – A Sculpture in Sölker Marble: A Testament to Empathy, Values, and Lived Humanity

This sculpture, carved from Sölker marble, is far more than a work of art – it is a quiet yet powerful statement on human dignity, compassion, and empathy. In a time marked by growing conflict and division, it stands as a reminder of what truly unites us: love, as the only enduring force.
This very stone has accompanied the artist through all phases of life for over 21 years. What was once raw material has become a vessel for emotion, memory, and conviction. From this deep connection emerged a work that embodies both vulnerability and strength.
The history of Human Dignity stretches back to 1999–2000, when the first version of the sculpture was created in wood. The proceeds from its sale were fully donated to help build an orphanage in Dolanji, India. For the artist, it was clear: art must go beyond words – it should have a tangible, meaningful impact.
Today, this work is more relevant than ever. It fits naturally in sacred spaces, places of contemplation and prayer, as well as in institutions and organizations dedicated to protecting human rights and dignity. It calls on us to pause and reflect on what truly matters – beyond consumerism and superficiality.
Human Dignity is a timeless reminder that compassion, respect, and love are not optional – they are our shared responsibility.

"Morgaine" (2025) – Sculpture in Dark Serpentine

The female torso “Morgaine” is a manifestation of ancient myth, sacred femininity, and hidden power. Inspired by the legendary Morgaine le Fay, the sorceress and priestess of the Arthurian legends, this work unites fine craftsmanship with spiritual depth. Morgaine represents the threshold between life and death — a healer, a bearer of fate, and a symbol of feminine wisdom.
She is an ambivalent figure, poised between good and evil, healing and destruction, the human and the otherworldly. She speaks to what lies beneath the surface — the unseen — which finds its expression in the dark, glistening serpentine stone.
In Celtic mythology, Morgaine was revered as the powerful guardian of Avalon, a healer, a knower, and a guide between worlds. This sculpture captures that essence: the mysterious, the strong, and the tender — the forces that dwell deep within the feminine soul.
The greenish shimmering serpentine enhances the organic energy of the figure. Like the mythical priestess herself, this work appears timeless, enigmatic, and glowing from within. In every curve of the stone, one can sense the wisdom of forgotten times — an echo of female spirituality seeking to be heard again in the modern world.

DUALISM (2025) – The Eternal Dance of Feminine and Masculine

The sculpture DUALISM (2025), carved from Jura marble, embodies the ancient balance between feminine and masculine energy — a theme found in mythologies, spiritual traditions, and nature itself. Two reclining figures, male and female, lie side by side, representing the duality at the heart of existence.
This stone sculpture captures the essential tension between opposites — the masculine principle stands for structure, order, and stability, while the feminine reflects fluidity, creation, and transformation. One is earth, firm and grounding; the other is water, shaping and reshaping, in constant motion.
Their forms rest in harmony, neither dominating the other — instead, they embody the interplay from which life emerges. Just as day and night, sun and moon, or ocean and shore, these figures express the eternal cycle of creation and dissolution.
In ancient mythologies and spiritual systems across cultures, this duality has always represented the foundation of existence: Yin and Yang, gods and goddesses, sky and earth — all pairs of opposites through which the universe finds balance.
DUALISM is a reflection of that same cosmic principle, grounded in the raw beauty of natural stone, shaped by human hands to tell a story as old as time. It invites the viewer to contemplate their own inner duality, the constant dance between form and flow, logic and intuition, structure and creativity.

Joy is not something that arises in isolation but is born from connection, touch, and the shared rhythm of life. It’s laughter that needs no words, movement that doesn’t seek direction—an embodiment of pure existence.

The Power of Joy in Contemporary Sculpture

"JOY" is not just a sculpture; it is a celebration of the encounter in movement. The figures—one male, one female—come together in a moment of shared joy. "ILLUSIONE" – Marble Sculpture on Transience, Illusion, and the Meaning of Life

"ILLUSIONE" is a striking marble sculpture made from Sölker Marble that delves into the profound questions of life: What does it truly mean to live? Is our pursuit of success, wealth, and recognition ultimately just an illusion? This contemporary marble sculpture invites deep reflection on transience, the true meaning of life, and the fragility of human existence.
The intricately crafted skull sculpture serves as a symbol of transience, emphasized by the bony hand and the almost unnoticed mayfly. The mayfly, with its brief lifespan, symbolizes the fleeting nature of life and its intense, conscious enjoyment of each moment. In stark contrast stands the rigid human body, frozen in an existence shaped by external pressures and illusions.

Memento Mori – Art as a Reminder of What Truly Matters

With "ILLUSIONE", the classic motif of Memento Mori is reinterpreted in a contemporary context. This sculpture reminds us that true life is not found in status, possessions, or societal recognition, but in the conscious experience of the present moment – in feeling, living, and the courage to break free from illusions.
The work acts as both a well-meaning admonition and an inspiration. The rigid posture of the depicted body symbolizes the moment of late realization – when the true value of life becomes clear, but time has run out. "ILLUSIONE" is an artistic invitation to pause and reflect on one's life path: Am I striving for genuine fulfillment, or am I chasing an illusion?

A Timeless Message in Stone

This powerful sculpture serves as a reminder of the fleeting nature of life, urging viewers to question their own existence. "ILLUSIONE" is not just an aesthetic object; it carries a profound message, reflecting the inevitability of our finite time and the importance of living with purpose.

"Resurrection" – Limestone Sculpture (2022)

The "Resurrection" sculpture depicts a person in a moment of profound transformation – the body arched backward, rising from stillness, eyes gazing upward. The heavy, timeless limestone gives the figure a powerful presence, one that feels both earthly and spiritual.
Resurrection is more than a religious motif. The sculpture symbolizes the universal process of rising again – after crises, phases of darkness, and inner struggles. The arched body represents an opening toward light, hope, and a new reality. It is the moment when a person leaves behind the weight of the past and turns toward life anew.
In Christian tradition, resurrection signifies the triumph over death and impermanence, a new life and redemption. On a broader, universal level, this sculpture serves as a reminder that every individual experiences moments of rising in life – times when they emerge from pain, doubt, or stagnation and become part of life once more.
The minimalist design, clear lines, and stone surface of the limestone accentuate the timeless symbolism of the work. It fuses spiritual depth with physical presence, anchoring the act of resurrection both in the material and the spirit.
"Resurrection" invites viewers to reflect on their own processes of rising, renewal, and rediscovery. The piece speaks of hope, transformation, and the unwavering strength of life, eternally captured in stone.

Freedom through Responsibility – The Torso as a Symbol for Safer Sex

A male torso, powerful and unprotected, raw in its nudity, yet consciously shaped. The lines of his body represent strength, sensuality—but also responsibility. This sculpture addresses safer sex as the essence of modern freedom: not as a limitation, but as a conscious choice that allows intimacy without compromising safety.

Sexuality is one of the deepest forms of human expression—an interplay of desire, intimacy, and trust. But true freedom only emerges where responsibility is considered. Protection is not opposed to passion, but is its foundation. Contraception and prevention create space for self-determination, for lightness, for a shared experience free from fear.

The torso—fragmented, reduced to its essentials—stands for more than mere physicality. It is a symbol of the fragility and yet the self-determination of the human body. The nudity hints at openness, at naturalness, but it is not naive. It calls for an awareness of one’s own health and the health of others.

Throughout art history, the naked body has always mirrored societal views—from the idealized beauty of antiquity to modern critical explorations of body politics. This sculpture continues that tradition and raises a central question of our time: How do we unite pleasure and responsibility?

The answer lies in knowledge, in prevention, in the conscious decision to protect. Safer sex is not a limitation but an empowerment. It gives the freedom to surrender, to open up, to experience intimacy without fear. This sculpture reminds us: true pleasure arises where both body and mind are equally protected and free.
